An enthuisastic, motivated, devoted Fashion Photography graduate with 2:1 honours. Earnest and creative, I have the ambition to to become a prosperous creative within the creative industry, with a broad range of versatile skills which are relevant within this trade. I worked at iHeart studios in Amsterdam as a studio assistant. I have also completed training for freelance photog-raphy and styling and help out with this when I can. It is a job that involves a lot of team work and good communi-cation skills as well as having a good knowledge on the stock we receive and coordinating images to retouchers & client services
During the time I was not at iHeart, I work for the well-known establishment ‘Cafe De Jaren’ as the social media coordinator. I work closely with our advertising & marketing agents and work to a tight schedules & deadlines, creating visually pleasing imagery which will attract people in to the cafe as well as interacting with customers.
I was fortunate enought to have been accepted on to the Erasmus Graduate Scheme. I interned for 6 months at Dutch fashion brand ‘10 Days’ where I primarily produced all the graphics and social media including some of the website content & e-com. I also had the privilege to shoot 3 kids lookbook for e-com as well as help out the marketing, e-com, design & production departments as much as I could.
During the summer of 2016 I Interned for SCHÖN! Magazine. My responsibilties as an intern included researching ideas and creating moodboards to support up and coming shoots. I did a lot of agency/ PR returns & collections which involved a lot of navigating around London. I helped out with researching brands to requests samples such as wallpaper for set builds and jewellery for beauty editorials and various projects. As well as assisting shoots on set when I could
During London Fashion Week my jobs included organising photography passes requesting tickets for the editors. As well as putting together a schedule for the whole team, I worked closely with them selecting the appropriate images for various social media platforms. It also gave me the opportunity to interview two bands: En Vogue and The Joy Formidable..
I was headhunted by well-known stylist Kay Korsh to assist her on shoots. Responsibilties included unpacking and checking the clothes - making sure they were the ones expected, hanging them in order of different looks and steaming them, dressing the model and also pinning them in place in areas which were too big. On set I nipped in every now and then making sure it would look good on camera to minimise post-production. After I would arrange for the clothes to be returned by either taking them myself or a courier to pick them up. Clients included: Fucking Young Magazine, Schon Magazine, L’Officiel Turkey Magazine, Four Seasons Magazine.
I was contacted by well-known stylist Marianna Frannais to assist her on shoots usually over a period of two days. My jobs included, unpacking and checking that all the clothes we were expecting had arrived, steaming them and hanging them with the appropriate look. I was responsible for dressing the model(s) and making sure they were pinned in correctly. I also made sure everything was tidy, making sure garments had been packaged back up ready to return them all the next day or for a courier to pick them up. Clients included: Interview Magazine, GQ Turkey Magazine & L’Officiel Turkey Magazine.
