I'm Scott, Mid Weight Graphic and Web designer at Your Local Link Magazine in York.
I love my current varied role. I work as a part of a highly talented and diverse in house design team. I design adverts and editorial spreads for print in 5 different printed publications.
Since I started working with Local Link in 2017 I have re branded and entirely re-designed the Local Link website. I brought in new ideas and concepts allowing us to expand our own online presence. I worked in depth on bringing good UI and UX to it which now allows the user a smooth experience.
I started my career during my study time at university in 2011 before finishing my graphic design degree leading me to graduating in 2014.
Over the past 7 years I have gained vast amounts of experience within the design and creative industry. I have collaborated with some very talented designers, photographers and agencies, I have helped out and worked with local start-ups and medium sized businesses right up to international brands and market leaders such as Visit Scotland and Pavers Shoes.
My main skills and specialities: Branding, Visual Identity, Art Direction, Photography & Creative Direction, Graphic Design and Photography.
