Hi my name is Sean and I am a creatively lead and passionate filmmaker with a strong can do attitude. I have gained solid recognition from numerous production companies and film festivals including Cannes Short Film Corner. My capabilities as a camera operator and editor have been generally recognised by my ability to produce high quality work under pressure and to strict deadlines. My strengths lie in my analysing and problem solving skills when it comes to producing digital content. I'm a confident self directing shooter and I have a keen interest in new media and design technology and an extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro and other post-production softwares.
I produce promotional videos for individual clients which covers live events, advertising and other corporate media. All of my digital content is created in house and I have access to a modern Panasonic GH4 camera that shoots in 1080 & 4k resolution, GoPro Hero 3, Boss sound equipment and Final Cut Pro X editing software.

Blue Moment is a 45 minute film drama developed in collaboration with the Refugee Therapy Centre in London. Tasks Include: Setting up Provision lighting and electric equipment, clapper board & manual handling duties.
Filming the ISENC Conference at Northumbria University
Tasks Include - Marketing research, directing video content, editing and camera operating, grading and after effects. Sound recording and design, liaising with advertisers, digital promotions and implementing social media strategies. Shoot, directed and edited a promotional video for the Thrift Energy Atlantic Challenge team. The aim of the race was to raise money for two key charities, Alzheimer's Society and St Clare's Hospice. On December 15th 2015 Sean McGuigan and Andy Warner set off to row across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera to Antigua. A 3000 mile trip which took around two months to complete. During this time the team rowed 24 hours a day in 2 hour shifts between the two of them.

Junction 42 is film which follows the stories of people who have found an alternative life to their troubled pasts. The documentary explores the extraordinary lives of born again Christians based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Tasks Include: Camera operating, research into the charity, the contributors and their Christian beliefs, interviewing contributors, liaising and coordinating with the producer, drone flight, editing, and grading.
