Cyclist / PhotographerThe Big Bike Trip

I spent 15 months of my life cycling from Bali to London with my two best mates. We cycled over 23,000km, through 24 countries raising just over $34,000 for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand. I documented the trip for our social channels and blogs, as well as for our various sponsors. We have a book deal with Penguin-Random House New Zealand with a release date set for August 2020. The book, which I am designing, will heavily utilise my photography to tell the story of our trip. This adventure taught me things no job ever could, and provided me with memories and experiences to draw on that can never be replaced.

As Creative 2.0 I worked as a graphic designer, artworker, photographer, videographer and camera assist on projects for brands such as Air New Zealand, Fonterra, KidsCan, New Zealand Cricket and Z Energy. Working at one of New Zealand’s biggest independent agencies with some of the countries’ largest and most well-known brands, I gained experience, skills and knowledge across different areas while adapting quickly to the fast paced nature of an agency such as True. A large part of my role also involved being the lead designer and creative on in house projects, working closely with industrial designer to develop branding and identity, and to create and roll out social content.
