Sebastian Henry Thiel was born on 31 August 1990 Luanshya, Zambia. He was raised in Northwest London which later provided inspiration for his first films. In his late teens, he Founded Upshot Entertainment. Thiel has featured on TEDx Talks, and was listed in the Top 25 Under 25 most influential Londoners by Evening Standard. More recently Sebastian was put on BBC’s 2017 Hotlist for New Talent – unveiled by Idris Elba & Tony Hall.
Sebastian made his TV debut on London Live with his hard-hitting Documentary ‘Trap Town’ in 2014. Thiel has built an online following amassing over 10 Million Views for his self-produced work. His latest work includes Just a Couple a BBC Three comedy drama produced by Big Talk Productions
