After a Master in cultural engineering, I have developed my knowledge of the international art scene for twelve years through galleries, curating, biennials and contemporary art fairs (FIAC and cutlog). In 2013, I have created a nomad gallery, BG Now, around photography and drawing. The objective was to get out of the closed part of a showroom with new synergies. It is with the same desire that in 2014, I have opened the doors of my own gallery dedicated to french emerging artists: www.segolenebrossette.com During this year, I have organised several exhibitions. I participated in a contemporary art fair: YIA art fair (off of FIAC). I have also launched Parcours Dix-Huit which brings together public and private cultural places (galleries, associations, institutions) and makes a link between actors of the 18th district of Paris during the week of Paris Photo in November. It has been well received by peers and local press but I got this feeling that, as the art scene becomes more and more international, I had to explore another city where the market of art is much more active. This is how I have decided to come to London. I am currently looking for new opportunities in the art world where I will be able to mix my different skills: organisation, analysis, synthesis and knowledge of contemporary art scene.
