I am a curator and art writer with a fervent passion for the arts. With over 8 years of experience in the art world, I have been involved in multiple departments and been able to see different scenes in the art world to pick the one I liekd the most. My curatorial work is always on going, picking up ideas from life and encounters. Alongside this part of me, I have recently started to work with interdisciplinary artist Roisin Jones, as an artist coordinator and studio manager. I have a strong dedication to promoting diverse artistic expression and fostering creative dialogue shapes my endeavours.

Banfield's style resides in the surreal and metaphorical, using elements of
- Interview with British-Jamaican painter, Katasha RoseKatasha Rose is a British-Jamaican painter, born in Jamaica and today based in London, UK. Still in a phase of discovery, the particularity of her works resides in her dual style practice, abstract and figurative. Katasha Rose paints either people that look familiar to her, or abstract landscapes with vibrant colours as a way to feel freer from figurative style preciseness. While exploring through her work, Katasha Rose hopes to inspire many young artists to pursue their career with no fear and

- After Isolation – ExhibitionAfter Isolation is an exhibition gathering nine women artists from different mixed ethnicities dedicated to creating art under the theme of life after the pandemic. We designed an identity focused around the concept of 'New Beginnings'. In order to effectively portray this without using any artworks (as most were not made yet) we explored nature which was also a key theme in many of the artists proposals. We worked with a time lapse film of flowers blooming which we then blurred to abstraction
