About me
I am seeking to develop the skills I have acquired in my arts degree in hands on, exciting and creative roles. I have experience in creating and designing spaces, costumes and objects, often inspired by my keen love of the outdoors and nature. My artwork largely revolves around immersive multi-media installations, inspired by my original designs, drawing on methodological practices honed during my degree. I aim to become a set designer for theatre and film and am currently the art producer for a theatre production, ‘Peer Gynt’, in Bristol. I have experience working collaboratively at many events and helping to organise/run events, workshops and festival stalls. I am an excellent people person and have excellent customer service skills. I am very adaptable and creative, I am a keen and quick learner and very responsible. I have taken an active and collaborative role in many other activities and creative events, such as being an Irish Folk/punk dancer for the band Kilnaboy at the age of 7, entering national climbing competitions from also a very young age, and being the lead waitress at a collaborative 1930s cabaret event. I am friendly and easy to approach and I enjoy talking to people, I have a lot of energy and am a very happy, energetic and bubbly person. I can provide references upon request.

National Eisteddfod of WalesThe Installation represents the beauty of decay in nature, specifically decayed Welsh poppy (Meconopsis cambrica) heads. The poppy itself has been an important symbol throughout history and folklore, with cultures worldwide writing about its medicinal uses or using it to symbolise peace, sleep, death and rebirth. I have used copper wire, copper mesh and the element of fire to re create the effect of the poppy seeds. My own addition to this installation is to spiral and twist the ends of the seed
