Working within the industry from the age of 17 I have learnt most of the ins and outs, and also watched the world of music and stardom go from analogue to digital. I started taking photographs at the age of 17, sneaking into raves and documenting the London underground scene. Once I had completed my A levels, I decided to take a gap year in which I went travelling on my own for 3 months at the age of 19. I decided to go to the states and broaden my network. I did the same thing there, I worked with a number of blog platforms and created their online content. I would be sent out to events to document what was going on. I would make the most of this opportunity by speaking to everyone I would come across, and introducing myself to everyone. Luckily in most environments like this networking is second nature. When I returned to London I began to think of my start to university (London college of communication to study photo journalism). After my first term there I decided it was not the best fit for me and did not want to waste anymore time or money and began to set up detailed charts of how I could run my own online company. I knew I was too young for any large corporations to give me a job or even an internship, as I would have no background in work apart from retail or academia. I ended up starting my own online PR agency with two of my friends named Pressd PR. This way I get to work with people closest to me and learn about the industry first hand. It helped because it kept us on our toes and meant we had to come up with quick solutions. Working with different types of artists ranging from hip-hop to soul even to poets and designers. It also helped me understand the full process of creating a body of work for the public. I learnt how to orchestrate debut shows, including bringing Sango from Soulection and Iman Omari over to London for their first ever show here to helping Da$h set up a press day with full coverage and interviews. We covered Sango’s first ever release and took Da$h from a 2,000 follower count on instagram to a 20k+ follower count in the first year. This was purely through strategically planning out every release, making sure its on the right platforms and that we were reaching out to the correct audience.Locked Pro Plan feature

Also coming up with media strategies and marketing ideas to help grow their audience further (either through events or publishing). Helped cast a number of video shoots with artists like Maino, Kirko Bangz and 2Chainz. Also did whatever hands on jobs were around on set including making sure all models were taken care of. As well as making sure all equipment, artists and staff were ok and keeping the clients happy at all times.
