About me
Graphic Design student in Cape Town. Outgoing. Ambitious. Hard working. Crazy fun. Love making illustrations. I am very passionate about graphic work, especially vector illustrations. I love to make drawings or unique pictures on specific programs such as Adobe Illustrator. My objective is to get as much work experience in the design field as possible before opening my own freelance business that offers a range of services.   • Child sexual abuse
    Child sexual abuseThis is a project done on child sexual abuse where I created a company and a campaign that the company would carry out to bring awareness to child sexual abuse. SUN is an organisation that focues on bringing child sexual abuse to a stop. The following campaign is a way to communicate the seriousness of the social issue and done to build a group of individuals who want to join in on bringing it to a stop. Viewers are lead and encouraged to download the SUN app and use it to report cases of suspictions of sexual abuse. Child sexual abuse is a social issue where many cases of it have been ignored or go un-noticed, resulting in a number of children experiencing a traumatising childhood and future life. This campaign focuses mainly on girls who get sexualy abused because statistically girls are more likely to get sexual abused compared to boys. Focusing on young girls, the campaign communicates and focuses on the outcomes child sexual abuse can have on a child. Presenting these outcomes in a shocking manner is done to not only raise awareness but motivate individuals to spot child sexual abuse early to avoid these outcomes on their own or a child they do not know. The outcomes focused on throughout the campaign are the following: Physical signs such as bruises Self harm or suicide Physical bleeding from the vagina How the child can be emotionaly manipulated by their abuer to think what is happening to them is ok Sexual difficulties Innapropriate knowledge or behaviour about sex
  • Hippie Culture
    Hippie CultureThis was a project where I chose to convey the hippie culture through poster design. The consistent theme throughout the posters is the psychedelic art form that is used and admired in hippie culture, using bright colours that bounce off each other and make the eye very uncomfortable. Each poster focuses on a specific value or belief that is carried out in this culture.
  • Nature On
    Nature OnWorking with my classmate, we created a vending machine that can be placed on popular mountains used by rock climbers. In the vending machine are the necessities a rock climber would need, food, sleep wear, medication, water. All the supplies inside the machine can last for a long amount of time, the machine itself can stand harsh weather and is powered by solar power. Nature On is a brand that promises to support rock climbers by providing all their needs so they can have a safe journey. All the information about the brand and the product are presented in this booklet which is used for advertising purposes. Handed out to potential vieweres and customers.
