7 months ago I left behind a comfortable existence in South Africa to pursue a life less ordinary and tick off a list of 70 bands to see live before I die. I'm on a mission to learn, grow and develop my skills as a storyteller through all mediums.
Storytelling for brands - from strategy to execution. Brand narratives, content creation, video scripts, briefing documents, press releases, advertorial and digitorial copy and product copy. I like to believe I bring a balance of strong strategic skills and highly creative thinking to all projects. I have a passion for storytelling and my experience spans traditional and digital media as well as PR and journalism. I thrive as part of a creative team and love a good brainstorm. My role was two fold: Conceptualise and develop successful strategies that drive brand growth and meet client objectives and produce creative, conceptual ideas and copy elements for integrated campaigns. Clients: Vaseline, TRESemme, POND'S, Rama, Dawn, Skip, Lifebuoy, Shield, Unilever brightFuture; Danone, RCL Foods, KFC, Flora, Domestos, Revlon.
A small business venture where I enjoyed writing copy solutions for other startups including web copy, PR content, business proposals and physical marketing materials and online campaigns.
