  • My role as logistics coordinator requires me to schedule resource, travel, and accommodation for staff at multiple simultaneous events. I ensure all necessary equipment and items required for each event are up to stock and ordered to client requirements. I also maintain cost control per each event so it runs to the budget provided. I provide continuous support and liaison with staff whilst on site at events to ensure problems solved as issues arise. Manage diversion of resources where necessary between simultaneous events of varying requirements. Negotiating with suppliers whilst briefing them on required configuration and requirements for each event. I also use a CRM database, which is a central hub for day-to-day work. I gained management skills during my time in this position and had 2 interns report to me.

  • Assisted in curating and organizing launch events for exhibitions at the MEN gallery, bringing works of local artists to a bigger audience in the heart of Shoreditch. I arranged all digital promotional material to promote the launch events and complied guest lists, maintained budgets mailing lists, arranging alcohol sponsors and general troubleshooting and smooth running of event nights.

  • Worked for 1234 promotions & Records based in Mayfair and East London. Here I assisted liaising with clients, and press agencies on several single releases, organized launch events for up to 2,000 people. This role then progressed, and I was a fundamental member of the team that organized the 1234 Shoreditch Festival in Shoreditch Park between 2007 & 2012, which had a capacity for up to 15,000 people. Here I assisted on various essential tasks such as budgets, promotion, client liaison, booking, working with local councils. This included the planning and coordination, event management, artist booking, hospitality, promotion materials, Cost control: Ensuring costs are kept within budget, cost analysis, sending and managing contracts, arranging travel and accommodation, obtaining presentation material, sourcing/booking venues and negotiating with suppliers whilst briefing them on required configuration and requirements, completion of invoices, Health and Safety arrangements, and on the day-to-day troubleshooting,
