Shelby is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher and recent graduate of the MA Visual Communication program at the Royal College of Art. Her research is centered around the conception of national identity in divisive times, with a special focus on Canada. In addition to this, she has worked with a range of clients across North America and Europe in sectors spanning fashion, arts & culture, publishing, not-for-profit and tech. A program which, at its core, is about challenging traditional notions of communication and pushing the boundaries of creative discipline. While at the RCA I conducted extensive research into the conception of national identity in divisive times with a special focus on Canada. - Achieved a distinction on my dissertation (September 2018). - Part-time student worker assisting with open days (2018-19).
