I decided to become a freelancer in order to work on different projects covering a variety of disciplines & fields ranging from design, production, management, marketing and research. I seek diversity and creativity in order to offer highly innovative campaigns and successful products. I have occupied various positions in my career: Creative Director, Production Manager, Account Director, and Digital Project Planning Director; these roles have equipped me with a wide and rich expertise in advertising (graphic, print, web), planning, producing, researching and marketing
I was recruited as producer, project manager and account manager to manage complex interactive engagements to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost and quality. With my deep understanding of digital production process, I was to suggest new routes, and challenge the process to drive a high quality end product.
I was appointed to this role to build the company’s global account and project management offering, creative capability, production processes, marketing objective, strategic planning and digital expertise. The aim is to engage multiple stakeholders in order to deliver client satisfaction through cost-effective delivery and grow the company’s financial goals. I worked on a wide variety of blue chip projects. In some cases I was the Account Director, and in others the Project Director, depending on the client's requirements.
I was hired to work on a variety of interactive projects ranging from rich media advertising campaigns to large content managed web builds. The aim was to produce intelligent and creative solutions that motivate and change end user behaviour.
I was promoted to this role as the scope of my responsibilities had widened substantially. I still fulfil my duties as Creative Director, but I now manage a larger team of web designers and developers, and coordinate with all heads of department. My principal duty is to ensure the satisfaction of our clients.
I was headhunted to take up this new role to manage a creative team of web designers and developers. As the General Manager relied increasingly on my abilities, my responsibilities widened to include handling international accounts, consulting, and implementing IT.
I was lured back to Express International by their offer of a promotion and an increased utilisation of my creative talents. My responsibilities were as follows: • Manage and design promotional campaigns, i.e. brochures, stationery, annual reports, posters, etc. • Develop and create logos and corporate identities for a variety of accounts. • Organise and design stand displays for exhibitions. • Manage all graphic design projects, from initial design concept through to final output and delivery.
I was headhunted by the CEO of Gemini, who was attracted to the fact that I had rapidly established my reputation as a professional and talented designer. My responsibilities were to: • Undertake a profitability study to issue strategic promotional concepts to all our clients. • Train others in my department in operating computer graphic programs and finalising artwork.
• Re-examined and handled advertising accounts in both the creative and production departments. • Designed promotional concepts and executed through to the final stages of pre-press and printing.
