Projects
- Bring Me Home“Bring Me Home” is a project focusing on people travelling back home. Beijing xi Railway The station is the largest railway station in the north of China. During the winter, 2.4 million people travelled back to their homes to have a family reunion for Spring Festival. This project explores the complex emotion when people are eager to back home.
- Under the Gaze"Under the Gaze” is an in-game photography project within the video game “Watch Dogs: Legion”, in which characters “break the fourth wall” by talking to the audience/players. When subjects are looking at the photographer, however, they recognise that they are being violated by the camera - wresting control back from the photographer.
- Don’t Forget Me“Don’t Forget Me "records the story of ring pulls. After drinking Coke, we tend to throw away the ring pulls without hesitation. When they were abandoned by people, they wonder why they want to throw them away? They tried so hard to find their value and position. But their most important value has vanished when they are being thrown away. Is there destined for being forgotten and abandoned? The story of ring pulls illustrates the content of identity. Is this self-proving behaviour worthwhile?
