Here are my portfolios of work: Website portfolio: www.shuhajmamun.wordpress.com Behance portfolio: www.behance.net/FOX_4 My name is Mamun, 20, UI/UX Designer (user interface/user experience). I design interfaces for websites, apps, and desktop applications. Have a clear understanding of the process of designing interfaces. Am able to research, originate, wireframe, prototype, design, and test beautifully vivid interfaces. UI/UX design is my speciality however, I also acquire a set of supplementary skills which include the following: Adobe: Photoshop/Fireworks/Premiere Pro/Dreamweaver/Illustrator, HTML5/CSS3, Typography, Print Design/Magazines/Brochures/Leaflets, Marketing Posters/Billboards, Logo design, GIFs (Graphics Interchange Format), Unity 3D/Autodesk Maya, Book/Album covers. I have gained considerable amount of experience and skills on how to work fairly, productively, and simply in a team, get along with people, communicate positively, and dealing with disagreements between teammates. I have gained and developed these team-skills through numerous group projects throughout College and University. Over 4 years of experience on designing interfaces. Studied Art and Design/Interactive Media in College, and currently studying Media and Arts in Queen Mary University of London. I've had work experience with Mother London Creative Agency, prior to this, whiles I was working in college, Mother London awarded me with the Creative/Tech Award for my website and magazine designs.
Mother London Creative Agency awarded me with the Creative/Tech Award in 2013 for my website and magazine designs. Soon after, I was given the opportunity to work with them for a week. Some of the designers showed me their interfaces, and taught me that in order to be a great designer, you must practice, set your standards higher than the rest, and to mix with only the best. Also, I developed my interpersonal-skills by speaking with many new designers throughout the day. Ultimately, I gained invaluable insight on how to become a successful designer in the real working world. I was privileged to have shadowed and worked with professional and established designers who imparted their knowledge which I could not have learnt anywhere else. It was a truly phenomenal experience.
BTEC Art and Design (D* D* D). In college, I designed interfaces for websites and apps, designed magazine covers, album covers, book covers, logos, 3D games on Unity 3D, created 3D models in Maya as well as texturing these models and compositing them into my 3D game environment. Conceptualised the storyline, characters, ingame environment, user manual for my game.
Currently in my third and final year of studying Media and Arts Technology at Queen Mary University of London.
Creative/Tech Award by Mother London for my 3D modelling, website, and magazine designs. User interface skills. After Mother acknowledge my work and awarded it, they decided to hand me an opportunity to work with them for a day to learn what a professional designer's work is like.
