  • As a HR Project Executive for REED I am responsible for implementing various change projects across the company, in line with the wider business and HR strategy. This role gives me the opportunity to be involved in creating positive change within the organisation and provides me with the invaluable exposure to Directors and Heads of Business'. My current project is Social Media Development. Clients and Candidates are at the heart of everything we do at REED and ensuring that this is followed through in our approach to Social Media, is key to our future success.   • . I reported to the Senior Divisional Director and was solely responsible for the running of the Lloyds Scholarship Programme within REED Education. Here, I undertook and achieved the following tasks: • Assisted in the Recruitment and Selection process for the Scholarship Programme - including assessment centres and interviews • Registered a total of 157 Graduate/ Scholars across an 8 day period. • Fully completed the compliance screening for 152 Graduates at 100% • Successfully managed the full employment cycle for 152 Graduates • Was the sole point of contact for both the Lloyds Graduates/Scholars and the key stakeholders within Lloyds Banking Group • Dealing with all issues and queries, responding to HR matters sensitively and professionally at all times • Travelled to the participating universities to obtain sensitive documentations of all Graduates, and to ensure that they meet the compliance requirements of both Lloyds Banking Group as well as Reed's screening requirements. • Maintained regular contact with both in house screening, Lloyds Banking Group compliance teams and HR teams, including running conference calls, to ensure all candidates are cleared for work in a timely manner • Adhered to all regulated compliance and audit requirements. Ensuring that all candidates meet the requirements and all checks are carried out and verified, including, Disclosure Police Checks, Disclosure & Barring Service, Credit and ID checks, Referencing etc. • Scheduled and ran weekly conference calls for the Graduates, their Managers and Lloyds Stakeholders to ensure a smooth working process. • Processed payroll, sickness and leave for all 152 Gradudates on a weekly basis • Managed all expectations of Directors, candidates and the head of talent. • Developed strong working relationships with Directors and candidates by being their trusted advisor throughout the entire Scholarship process. • Continually collated key MI regarding spend, hours worked and overtime, accurately and in an efficient manner on behalf of the management team as directed.

  • For my first year placement on the REED Graduate Training Scheme, I worked within operations as a Consultant. In this role, I achieved and undertook the following tasks: • Sourcing and matching candidates to jobs and jobs to candidates • Preparing candidates for interview - discussing interview tips and techniques and explaining the structure of interviews • Liaising with managers to organise and arrange interviews • Maintaining customer service - managing client and candidate expectations and resolving recruitment issues • Addressing any personal candidate issues in a sensitive and professional way • Conducting telephone interviews for candidates • Maintaining and developing the business and relationships with clients • Maintaining and exceeding relationships with all candidates from registration through to placement • Raised divisions compliance audit score from 73% to 98% - a personal best and highest score for the Accountancy division to date. Initial target was 85% • Continually collated and produced data for the Business Managers; including KPI's, Performance patterns, Branch income figures • Administered and issued new contracts for the group and ensured information reaches payroll in a timely fashion, making sure weekly payroll of temporary candidates is run accurately and efficiently • Adhered with the compliance requirements of the Data Protection Act and associated legislation insofar as they relate to the duties of the particular post • Fully co-operated with audits and inspections to ensure high standards of customer services and the protection of vulnerable people as appropriate through recruitment. • Recruiting and managing the staff on the Reed Internship Programme throughout the duration of their 3 month placements.
