Trained in information management, my interest is in how people use and navigate information and the power of information to make change in the world. I'm a skilled people manager, negotiator and team player and pride myself in the ability to write appealing but simple copy for online and print publications. I write and sub-edit freelance for several small businesses locally and for the Royal Horticultural Society where I currently work full time.
I have experience in project managing web transformation and database projects and am currently exploring the capabilities of semantic web technologies for providing information online in a more targeted and streamlined way.
I am also a photographer with my own freelance business, working mainly with small businesses to improve their online imagery and with portraits for individuals and families. I am currently branching out into more creative editorial and fashion styles.

- Oogie boogie cosplayEvery year The Powdered Lens a group I'm part of consisting of a hairdresser, makeup artist and photographer does a Halloween shoot, it's to celebrate how we first got together and our first group project. Even tho this year has been hard for our industry we didn't want to break this tradition!
