About me
About eight years ago, I got involved with Digital Humanities as part of my PhD project and learnt how to code, analyse and visualise data and interpret social networks. The love for all things digital and my keen interest in the marketing aspect of online social networks as well as my passion for data visualisation as a way of communicating strategies and research has ever since been the main drive in my career. I thrive at the challenge to remain ahead of the game and on trend with data analysis, SEO strategies, social media channels & digital marketing concepts. I pride myself on my ability to absorb information efficiently and quickly. I am passionate about what I do and it shows through my strong work ethic, exceeding results and award for Digital Humanities Best Blog 2014.
I worked as a freelance SEO & Digital Marketing consultant and Web designer. I am proficient in 4 languages and know HTML, CSS, R and SQL.
I then worked as a digital marketing account optimiser at Google for Accenture, after which I worked as an SEO account executive at iProspect. I got promoted to SEO specialist at iProspect after 9 months.
Once back in London, I started work as an SEO specialist at Expedia, where I got promoted to Senior SEO specialist after 8 months.
I still sporadically give lectures about data visualisation and data analysis for postgraduates at universities around the world.
Last lectures were:
Introduction to Network Analysis at the Summer School for Digital Humanities, UZH Zürich
Network Analysis Intensive Workshop at the Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington DC (Early Modern Digital Agendas: Network Analysis)
