  • Benhaus was established in 2010 by Simon Paul Benton. Since graduating from BA (hons) Product Design at Central St Martins in 1997, Simon has spent 16 years working at the highest level in London's fashion industry. After a 6 year stint at Bill Amberg as head of design, he set up Benhaus to specialise in the design and development of fashion accessories. Benhaus' broad range of clients receive excellent work which is always executed on time, and on budget. Current and previous clients include: Bill Amberg, Clarks, Darkroom, Dr Martens, Ettinger, Fila, KX Gym, Jaguar Land Rover, Lewis Leathers, Pringle of Scotland, UVU, Zanzan

  • Initially employed to design a men’s collection, I eventually became responsible for the entire Bill Amberg branded line: • Design of all branded collections, employing and managing freelancers when required. • Created and worked to timelines. • Worked closely with the sales team to understand the market requirements. • Presentation of collections to Board, Creative Director and Sales Team • Developed and maintained relationships with suppliers. • Sourced materials and developed leathers with suppliers. • Full spec packs and pattern making. • Worked to TMP’s and negotiated pricing with manufacturers • Regular trips to overseas factories in Spain & Turkey to develop samples and QC production. • Production management - placing orders with suppliers, working with SAGE
