About me
Degree educated freelance user experience designer with 5+ years’ experience working in London in lean product development environments, specialising in UX design, digital UI design, lean UX design and website & app development.
Currently working as part of my own freelance UX design company Newleaf Design Studio based in Cheltenham, I provide user experience and user interface design for other businesses, charities, agencies and individual clients, to research, design and produce online ecommerce & product platforms, fully-responsive websites and iOS & Android apps.
Projects
- Yazino Company RebrandYazino was one of my favourite clients to work with. They are a London-based social gaming startup who focus heavily on collaborative and exciting games for all ages. Working together as part of a small marketing team, I designed and overhauled the Yazino brand & brand collateral for social gaming summit events and various other PR projects.
- Dream to Screen Competiton Branding & Website DesignI was proud to work with Mediatrust and the Jack Petchey Foundation to create the brand, logo, website and collateral from scratch. Dream to Screen is a startup charity project helping young aspiring film makers achieve their film-making goals. The winning film wins a free pre-reel screening at all cinemas in the UK for a month.
- DASH Project Management AppI provided key in-depth primary research, wireframe testing and high-fidelity user interface design as part of this new startup app with former work colleagues at Yazino. DASH is an agile project management application aimed at simplifying tasks and enables individuals and teams to have better visibility and control over projects.
- Country Kitchens Rebrand & Website RedesignCountry Kitchens are one of my oldest clients and we've spent a lot of time working on the brand, and online & print collateral together. I've recently completely rebranded their business, and in the process of creating their brand-new Country Kitchens website. www.countrykitchens.co.uk
- Picturehouse Website RedesignFor Picturehouse I've been working as a UX consultant with another User Experience designer Conor Gaffney, helping to plan in-depth user analysis & testing, followed by a componentised approach to user interface design for a new fully responsive rebranded website. The new Picturehouse website will be created based on my original Cineworld UI design structure.
