With a background in marketing, event management and promotion, I have successfully built a career as an active project manager, with a recent focus on campaign creation, digital marketing and data-driven reporting. I’m the founder and managing director of Xplicit Events, a business he has grown over the past ten years into one of Scotland’s most successful events brands having staged over 300 events. My role has involved a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including branding, advertising and programming, PR, promotion and media, business development, campaign creation and strategic marketing. I have worked with several media channels, entertainment venues and global brands including BBC, Universal, EMI, Bacardi, Annie Mac Presents, Smirnoff. The Arches and Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange I have developed the experience needed to successfully combine strategy and planning with creativity and innovation to devise, develop, deploy and manage multi-platform marketing and advertising campaigns through a selection of paid, earned and owned media.
