About me
Freelance illustrator: publishing, editorial, packaging. Ciao, I’m Simona Italian soul transplanted to London a decade ago infusing your projects with my Southern Italian heritage's vibrant colours and sunny vibes. My signature style effortlessly blends mixed media textures with digital techniques, adding a modern twist to nostalgic sentiments. I'm passionate about translating emotions into visual narratives that truly resonate, which is the reason why Editorial and Publishing work holds a special place in my heart, allowing me to dive deep into the written word and create illustrations that speak volumes. When I'm not drawing, you'll find me soaking up jazz vibes in London, sketching live music, or enjoying a swing dance. My goal is to create illustrations that not only complement the text I work on but also add my personal view of the world with a layer of depth and meaning to it. Editorial, Branding, Advertising.

We all know art can be therapeutic and an outlet to relieve difficult feelings. Thanks to illustration and visual communication, we can learn to connect with others by conveying our feelings and emotions on paper. In this class, I will teach you how to create art for a cause that you care about, such as mental health, wellbeing, equality, etc. I will teach you how to create an illustration from scratch using visual communication, color theory, and layout to better translate your emotions into images and connect with your audience.
