About me

I am currently working at a children’s film school managing bookings, client liaison and assisting with various marketing tasks. I have been a part of various film projects as a videographer. I directed my own documentary called ‘Saudade’ which focuses on migration and cultural identity from the Portuguese experience. I am highly interested in working as a producer for cultural events, partnering with grassroots organisations to provide content to the local community. As a hobby I write articles on Film, my most recent being about Architecture and Cinema using 'Her' and 'In the Mood for Love' as case studies. I also volunteer at the Everyday Magazine assisting with social media copywriting and content creation.

• Back to You - Skeleton King ft Sunblush KidA music video I shot and edited for The Skeleton King.
• Glitter Thief - OdysseyMusic video for hip-hop duo Glitter Thief. I worked alongside a small team as camera operator for the project.
• Poetry Short Film: SirenA woman is quietly reading her book in a cafe when a man, who can't take a hint, decides he wants to get to know her better. I was a runner for this short-film working alongside a great team of filmmakers, actors and writers.

I perform administrative duties at Sparks that range from customer service, managing bookings, emailing partners and schools for collaborations and marketing. I assist at the practical workshops where I teach and discipline children from a range of different backgrounds in filmmaking. In the workshops we work on all aspects of the filmmaking process and end the projects with a screening to parents and the children.

At UKIFF - London Iranian Film Festival I was in charge of curating and researching films to be added to the festival line-up. My role involves a high level of admin and a lot of marketing work. My job was heavily focused on social media marketing wherein I created images, edited trailers and shared/edited the festival reel. I was further in charge of organising a panel discussion at the festival with two industry experts - this was a sold out event. At the festival I was a liaison with the journalists and VIP guests - I further made introductions of events to our guests.
