About me
My appreciation for conceptual art and the written word led me to study a BA (Hons) with a dual major in Fine Art and English Literature at the University of Cape Town. I graduated in 2012 with an exhibition that explored the transient nature of language through printmaking. After graduating I worked as Editorial & Publishing Coordinator at ART AFRICA magazine, the leading fine art publication in Southern Africa. I gained experience in the many aspects of publishing a cultural magazine, from conceptualising content themes to managing contributors. I moved to London in September 2014. Upon arrival I worked as Editorial Assistant at The Culture Trip, where I learned about the intricacies of online publishing. I joined Forth Studio in the role of Editorial Manager in March 2015, and gained further experience in project management for commercial graphic design projects.

As Project Manager at London-based Forth Studio, I managed and delivered high-end branding campaigns, websites and custom publishing projects. My strong conceptual development skills combined with my detailed organisation led to the successful delivery of a range of projects. A highlight was managing the 212-page anniversary book for the Founders Forum, from the initial concepts right through to creative development, content creation and production.

In my role at global online platform The Culture Trip, I worked closely with the Editor to effectively manage the busy online platform. I managed the daily scheduling of articles to be commissioned, submitted, edited and uploaded. This involved keeping ahead of the complexities around timezones, content popularity, appropriate image sourcing, SEO and online quality control.
