Combining my experience from my professional career in Broadcast, my interest in video, and the web gives me a unique set of skills. I understand, and have experience in the whole production process, having worked in pre-production, production, and postproduction both professionally and individually.

Vision mixing the live news bulletins, operating a Sony desk, following scripts, reacting to breaking news and changes to the rundown. Working with the Director to ensure that the bulletins are clean to air. Vision Mixing pre-recorded links and interviews for ‘Going Underground’. Also vision mixing ‘Sam Delaney’s News Thing’, which was recorded as live.
Operating Viz Content Pilot for live news broadcast, and rehearsal, and working with Dalet to check the running order, and adding graphics where needed.

I worked as a Freelance Graphics Operator on a new show for Discovery. Here I worked with Ionoco’s bespoke software that was built for this particular show. As part of my role I created graphics in templates, and played them out during the recording of the show. In addition I worked with the Producer, Director and Production team to ensure that the correct content was imported into the system ready for the record of the show.
