About me
Hello, my name is Sofia Antonova,
I am a Creative Graphic Designer living in London, UK.
I was born in St.Petersburg, in Russia in a very artistic family;
My parents are both Art Directors with experience in Film industry, Interior and Graphic Design. My Grandfather was a magnificent painter, therefore I believe it was the combination of my genes and my passion which has driven me throughout my life to succeed in my Career.
For the past year I had lived in Malta and worked as a Graphic Designer at Cherry Casino Ltd, this experience has given me a better understanding of Digital Design in an Online Gaming Industry and has perfected my skills in Photo Manipulation.
I love designing detailed, creative and modern websites, packaging and print graphics. I’m always keeping an eye on the latest trends of typography, shapes and colours.
Recently I have been working on some personal projects in Digital Illustration using my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. I also enjoy freehand illustrations, and frequently draw using coloured pencils and mixed media techniques.
In my free time I enjoy digital and film photography, I work with a Professional Digital Canon Camera and Olympus OM1.
For me, a successful design project starts with a creative idea which is a combination of great layout, eye catching typography, attractive graphics and a highly usable function. I always aim to achieve that and perfect my skills!
