As the Media and Communications officer for the International Students Network, I am responsible for advertising events through posters, promotional videos, photography, and social media platforms; all with the intention to raise awareness of the Loughborough University’s cultural diversity and giving international students a platform to be heard.
For a month, I worked as a Personal Assistant for the children’s clothing company ‘Stay Little’. Part of my responsibilities include being in charge of stock management, administration, website updating, social media management, as well as developing and organising upcoming designs.
Worked in the summer camp 'La Espina' in Santander, Spain, as an English teacher for kids aged 6-17. Furthermore, I was a full time monitor, and took care of the children during, and outside of classes. I taught the language through games, exercises and reading. This required patience, creativity, spontaneity and approachability. The job also required me to adapt my approach to different age groups as well as their parents.
Having been the Media Representative for my hall of residence at Loughborough University, ‘Elvyn Richards, I was in charge of advertising events through posters, photography, promotional videos; updating social media platforms, as well as creating and maintaining the hall’s official website.
