I am friendly, fun and have a genuine love of people. I lived in different countries for 17 years but I am so excited and grateful to be living in the best country in the whole world with the best people. I loved drawing from a young age and colour is always the first thing I notice wherever I go. After a few years working in marketing and advertising I felt like I wanted to use more of my creative energy and I studied graphic design. When I started in my first job I remember thinking, ‘this is me’. Having my background in marketing means I can offer more than just design. When working on projects my goal is to hear my client say, ‘I love it’.
Projects
- Brand USA BBQ ChampionWe designed the logo and advertising for this nationwide Australian campaign to promote the USA. The client was so happy they also ran with our design for the website. I tried really hard not to plaster my excitement all over social media when I was shown my logo featuring on breakfast television...twice!
- Brand USA FlyersBrand USA is a non-profit organisation set up to pitch America as a travel destination for the rest of the world to go and visit. These flyers were distributed in Australia and New Zealand to travel agents and the media. They promote the USA as a destination for sporting and music events. Who said print is dead?
- Burns & FerrallBurns & Ferrall are New Zealand's premier commercial and domestic kitchen company. They provide the world's most respected brands to hotels, restaurants, bars and food retailers. Burns & Ferrall asked me to revamp their look and create a new design style for their commercial side of the business. They wanted a look that was modern, clean and would appeal to restaurants, bars and cafes.
- Santa Monica FamilMy Kitchen Rules semi-finalists (Australia), Luke Hines and Scott Gooding, are the official ambassadors for Santa Monica (I want their job). This campaign promoted a famil they were hosting to the sea side suburb in LA. We wanted to create a flyer where travel agents could hear the seagulls and smell the sea.
