Designing universes, crafting realities. Check them @ www.sofritodemora.com
Hi! My name is Sofia. I am a designer from Barcelona, graduated from BAU, with Brazilian roots, passionated about fashion and communication. I love brands with a solid identity that dare, care and take care. That's why I like to pay attention and love to every detail of the projects.
I have influences from pop Japanese fashion such as fruits magazine, from the naïve culture and existentialism. I like the intimate, the search for honest beauty, sometimes raw but real, that's why I like to bring elements of the physical, analog world to the digital. Finding a balance between ethics and aesthetics is one of my priorities as a designer.
My work focuses on the creation of universes. I use design programs like Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Clo3D, Gerber etc. I am a stylist for Sofía Gabanna with whom we have collaborated with Spanish and international brands such as Namilia, MSCHF, Fanci Club, LEO, Cherry Massia, Reparto Studio etc. I have also worked at Mariana Méndez - a handbags and accessories brand - in social media campaigns, product photography, among other things and as a freelance pattern maker.

Projects
- OBDC Magazine// Creative direction / Fashion Design / Pattern Making / Pint Design / Styling / Copywriting // Satire of the manuals of urbanity for women disguised as a children's activity magazine. It showcases the clothing and concept of the OBDC collection. It invites to play and proposes that women who identify with it reconnect with their inner voice, their instincts, and their desires. In other words, with what is called "the wild woman”.
- Giacinta SS23Giacinta SS 23// Pattern Making / Sewing // Pattern Making and Sewing for Emanuele Carrera debut collection Giancinta SS23. An exploration of the power in hyperfemenine aesthic. "The Giacinta collection recovers hyper-feminine silhouettes as a symbol of power, moving away from the need to break gender roles by transferring masculine silhouettes to women's wardrobes, an unnecessary exercise when a skirt carries as much or more symbolic weight as a suit."
