Preparing, developing and supporting of the policies collection, projects, products and events for future library activities. - Managing of the various library departments. - Organisational management: daily planning and coordinating of the library team. - Guaranteeing an optimal flow of information and encouraging communication so that employees and managers are informed and involved. - Practical organisation of projects, products and events. - Collection management (magazine and youth department). - Office management and administration - Managing and assisting of colleagues. - Informing and assisting of visitors. - Managing different kinds of formalities and procedures (eg. requesting grants for events) - Communications management, both before and during a project or event (internal, suppliers ...); providing an optimal top-down and bottom-up communication - Booking of accommodation, materials and equipment - Maintaining filing and database systems
