Studying for a philosophy degree was extremely rewarding as it taught me valuable skills that can be transferred directly to this role. Deconstructing and presenting large amounts of material and information was a major part of my degree, as was writing word restricted essays on large philosophical texts. As a result, I am able to present relevant material clearly and in a way that flows to convince and persuade. It gave the capability to approach problems in a multidimensional ways and find innovative way find solutions to issues. I was often expected to argue from positions that I did not personally agree with, in result it made me open minded and able to see both sides of an argument in order to make a systematic and well constructed arguments. Adapting these skills to marketing with a creative twist comes naturally as I can identify and present information that appeals to people in unique ways.
