About me
I'm writer, theatre-maker and freelance dramaturg, specialising in collaborative and devised contemporary theatre. As well as creating theatre, I have experience in supporting writers, running dramaturgy workshops and providing script reports.
Previously, my work has been performed at Brighton Fringe, The Actor's Centre, Soho Theatre, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Furthermore, my play 'DOGS BITE', was long-listed for The Questors Student Playwriting Competition 2019.
In addition, I host a podcast called 'Floaters' which involves conversations with international drifters (third culture kids, children of immigrants, self-confessed nomads). Available on most streaming platforms.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Drama and Performance from London South Bank University, and MA in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths University of London.
Projects
- Lady Baby ShroomsA baby rolls into their lives, literally, and it belongs to none of them. What are three old friends, breaking the rules during a national lockdown, to do? Years of friendship are put under a magnifying glass when Dee, Sienna and Helen are thrust into the middle of a mother of a situation, with a hefty handful of natures spicy treats, and the question is: Who get's to keep the baby? A new play, by Sophia Miller de Vega. Debuted at Brighton Fringe 2021.

Then we go.” Gregor was scolding Max under his mask. They were far from pious men. These graves would never be found. Once they sealed the tunnel they would be as good as buried anyway. When they emerged, they were lauded as heroes. Survivors. Accepted the photo-op flowers from local children like their murderous hands deserved them. When the Prime Minister came1

Broadening the toolkit of prospective theatre makers, through studying the foundations of characters work, (Stanislavski, Grotowski), physical theatre workshops with established theatre companies (Frantic Assembly, OBRA), practices of adaptation and final performance projects on a chosen topic.
