        • I began as a Creative Assistant, before being promoted to Head of Communications & Junior Sales. My role includes communicating with TV producers and creatives in advertising agencies regarding their creative briefs, working with production companies to market them to the industry, and overseeing all of the ENID London social media outlets and website. I liaise with our clients, who are the Executive Producers of UK and US production companies as well as several independent film directors, to oversee their junior sales & marketing. I recently accompanied one of the founding partners on a trip to Amsterdam, where we met with creative advertising agencies there, and have been assisting with setting up the new Amsterdam branch of ENID.

Bar Associate & Social Media Assistant

        J.D. WETHERSPOON

        Feb 2016 - Jul 2017
        • Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom
        • Full Time
        • The majority of my work was bar related; however, I also ran all of their social media, and as well as designing their posters and labels for a custom cask ales. This also helped build up my organizational skills - for example, I would often do the shifts opening the bar, with just one other team member, as well as the shifts closing down the bar. Working in such a fast pace environment meant that I had to be fast but accurate, and serve and assist customers quickly and well - good service in a bar is a balancing act between being personable and assertive.

        Creative Runner

        Starshot UK

        Jul 2015 - Feb 2016
        • London, United Kingdom
        • Internship
        • I was contacted by Starshot Films while I was a student after my portfolio had been passed to the company owner, and offered a part time position for weekend events. The majority of my work with Starshot Films was as a photographer and videographer at sporting events, as well as assisting with the running of the Starshot social media accounts and working with the sales team in a customer facing role. I learned how to film with Canon Legria camcorders, and photograph with Canon DSLR cameras, as I had only used Nikon's format previously. As a runner, I would begin work at 6am, and finish past midnight, usually on 3 day weekend shifts. This meant that I had to have excellent time management, as well as ensuring that I had to look and act professional despite long working hours and little sleep throughout the shifts, especially when dealing with customers in the sales room. Working in sales meant that I had to deal with hundreds of customer and their orders as adeptly as possible - the role included having to edit the photographs that they were purchasing to their satisfaction as promptly, before printing them and then either framing them, or making them into a badge or a keyring. This role taught me a lot of patience, and abetted me to work extremely productively at a very fast pace, as well as increasing my photography and videography skills.

        2016

        Resident Photographer/Designer

        • I was then asked to step into the position of residential photographer at both Bacchus Late Bar and The Library nightclub. Although I mainly photographed the standard evenings, I also covered special guest DJ nights and events. At some of these events, I was fortunate to meet and photograph several celebrity guests in a professional capacity, including Lindy Layton of Beats International, the '90s singer Sonique, and several of the cast from the BBC show 'People Just Do Nothing'. Overall, the role really helped to broaden my photography skills and taught me to use photography editing software, such as Lightroom, quickly and efficiently - I would have up to 1000 photos for two hours of photography to cut down to 200 and get edited and uploaded to the respective websites by the next day. I also designed posters, flyers and online content for the bars.

        • Full Time
        • I photographed and filmed the majority of events and sports fixtures run by the University’s Union, and ran all of their social media accounts for four years. This involved producing, directing and editing videos and posters for marketing campaigns - for the Varsity promotional films, I would spend several hours a week following teams during their training sessions and matches in all types of weather conditions to get footage. I was also the Chairwoman of the Sports Working Action Group, the committee that helped run sports at the Union. In this post, I helped to provide the coordination of 32 sports teams and their members, and assisted in managing the projects run by the Sports Union, such as Varsity, Sports Awards and the International Sports Tour.
