  • Internship
  • An approximate 10- 20 hours a week is spent answering clients emails (mainly in Greece), translating their messages in Arabic, signposting them to the relevant organisations and information that they require for housing, work, financial aid, asylum, relocation, reunification and other issues. These clients are generally refugees migrating to Europe to escape the atrocities or difficulties of their respective home countries. It is critical to be supportive and attentive to their needs and perhaps liaise directly with NGO's or governing bodies in order to make their cases known if needed.

The NGO would provide arts and crafts days where the women can have a safe place for respite and learn skills. I was in charge of preparing the centre and also aiding in arts and crafts. I have personally administered therapeutic sessions for the emotional release of the ladies and have conducted interviews with them to raise awareness for the cause.
