I am a highly motivated, creative and detail orientated individual. My core strengths lie in photography, image editing and graphics which I have built in my degree, previous internships and my current role. I have an aptitude for colour, composition and framing and a keen eye for visuals. I am fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and use these programmes daily to build and edit visuals, as well as CaptureOne Photography and editing software. Working for Burberry in Visual Merchandising has given me an ability to work to demanding and tight deadlines at short notice with global reach. The store guidelines I build are distributed to 500 stores globally and to internal teams where I am able to show my written communication skills partnering with the imagery I shoot and edit. My current position allows me to show my creativity in photography, image editing and graphics which I am motivated to build on in the future in a role for a brand or agency looking to build on their visual identity.
• Responsible for carrying out product display shoots on multiple indoor studio sets with lighting for edit and photo re-touching • Build monthly global Visual Merchandising floorset guidelines and VM communications materials relating to Accessories across all Women's and Men's categories • Shooting guidelines with Capture One software, photo and image editing using Capture One and Photoshop • Build additional guidelines with seasonal product updates and special projects such as pop-up in-store events, exhibition events and Window Styling guidelines • Build VM Showroom reports 6 times a year with fast turnaround. Carrying out showroom shoots using SLR cameras of seasonal showroom set-ups, including close-up detail shots, overview shots and product shots across all Women's and Men's Accessories categories • Develop, shoot and publish regular VM Tips instruction documents using Illustrator, InDesign and iBooks on internal web to communicate to store teams globally • Create illustrator drawings of products for VM Standards guidelines, including fixture drawings, product drawings and step by step 'how to' drawings • Develop layouts on InDesign for seasonal guideline templates, including using interactive features such as hyperlinks, object states and linking images and captions • Responsible for writing communication materials for stores to follow • Liaise with key stakeholders in merchandising across all Women's and Men's Accessories categories to ensure that all product is correct for different regions and store sizes • Partnering with marketing to ensure assets and key messages are communicated in guidelines • Work with global regional VM teams to implement strategies, especially during RIU processes • Use of assortment module tool to link seasonal product images to fixtures for merchants to use for their buy • Supervision of on-set freelancers
• Assist in creation of Model Store Guidelines and Seasonal Strategy Meeting proposals across Menswear, Womenswear, Childrenswear, Accessories and Home. • Use Photoshop on a daily basis to cut out imagery, recolour, retouch and create visuals. • Use InDesign to produce concept pages and assist in creation of Model Store Guidelines. • Merchandise and style apparel, accessories and homeware product in wall bays and floor fixtures to create eye catching displays, innovative merchandising solutions and to support sales.
