Working primarily within the arts, entertainment and events industries as part of a boutique marketing and publicity agency, assisting on the run up to events such as the UK’s largest African music festival Africa Oyé Festival, Threshold Festival & Liverpool SoundCity.
Press release and copy writing working to tight deadlines.
Managing and uploading to Africa Oyé’s social media accounts and enhancing the potential of these accounts via Hootsuite and tracking user generated content across these platforms.
Contacting press for print, television and radio coverage of events.
Updating mailing lists and building mail outs.
Preparing resources and marketing materials.
General admin assistance including uploading and updating event information to online systems.
