Work history
    Business Develop Manager Cross TrainingDeliveroo
    London, United KingdomFull Time
I was chosen after an application process open to the whole of Rider Operations to join the commercial team as a BDM, signing restaurants who inbounded during December. The skills I developed in this role included: • Negotiation - making sure the restaurant's signings made commercial sense. • Research - understanding the leads that inbounded and their value proposition. • Communication - using email, calls and meetings to ensure the restaurants converted. • Time Management - using email and calls to ensure the amount of leads were handled and contacted in a scalable way. • Product Knowledge - I constantly explained and emphasised the value Deliveroo brings to restaurants and how processes, operations and delivery create growth for restaurants. • Rapport - the restaurants I signed were greeted with enthusiasm to ensure a great first impression of the company and service we can provide. The time spent working in this role was valuable to me and I am keen to work with restaurants again to utilise the skills I have developed within this period.

    London, United KingdomFull Time
In my current role and through speaking with other teams I have been able to develop my understanding of Deliveroo’s key propositions: • Customers - the best selection of restaurants and an awesome user experience. • Restaurants - incremental revenue and data support helping them to entice new customers with their offering. • Riders – flexible working hours and better than average pay and working conditions. Internally I have been working efficiently to provide support and working within a team towards targets as well as working with younger members of the team to develop their outbound communication skills. Day to day tasks include: • Managing a shared inbox • Collating feedback • Working towards targets both as a team and individually • Understanding updates from the wider business
