  • Intelligent Patient Data Conference
Intelligent Patient Data ConferenceIn June, 2017, I produced and delivered a coference around the use of artificial intelligence on patient data. Working with the technology leads, I sourced and attained speakers from SMEs, Universities, government bodies and larger corporates, and desgined the panel discussions. Around 60 people attended the conference - with members from the NHS, Barts Health, Turing, Guy's & St. Thomas' trust in attendance. The conference covered the opportunities and challenges with applying intelligent technology to sensitive patient records. Overall, the event was a success, as the audience had a chance to raise their concerns to the experts, which produced unique and thought-provoking discussions.
  • Immersive Technology in the Third Sector
Immersive Technology in the Third SectorVirtual reality is a technology that can remove borders. What are the possibilities? How can charities overcome the challenges facing them so they can harness these technologies and incorporate them to their campaigns? In November, 2016, I produced and delivered an unconference/working lunch discussing what is possible for charity organisations looking to use immersive technologies, and understand what the biggest challenges and concerns are when adapting digital strategies to include new technologies. I sourced and managed the speakers, including Charlotte Mikkelborg, an experienced producer and director using VR for empathy, as well as project managers from Amnesty International and their “Syria360” project, RSPB and their “In the Eyes of the Animal” project, and The National Autistic Society and their “Too Much Information” project.
Work history
    Event Manager
    London, United KingdomFull Time
Digital Catapult curates a programme of over 300 events per year, exploring opportunities in the emerging tech space. Working with startups, SMEs and larger organisations, I work with tech leads, industry experts and community managers to produce a portfolio of events, focused around virtual and augmented reality, AI and machine learning, and blockchain within the Creative industries. I organise conferences, workshops, meet ups, tech demos, hack days, and business briefings, in which I source speakers and audiences, manage the online event listings, arrange catering and AV logistics, and manage each event on the day. A large majority of events I manage are outputs from a project, and I am confident in dealing with multiple stakeholders and managing expectations.
    Front of House Coordinator
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
As Front of House Coordinator, I was seen as the go-to person for the daily runnings of the innovation centre. The main responsibilities of the role were meeting and greeting guests and guiding them through the sign-in process (with over 1000 visitors to the centre each month - not including event attendees). I also managed the 10 meeting rooms within the centre and assisted with coordinating complex bookings with executive assistants. Along with the meeting rooms, I managed booking hot desks for over 200 contributor companies on a day to day basis, and assisted with the events in the centre when needed.
