Work history
    Social Media Marketing Assistant
My present role as the Social Media Intern at THE OUTNET, YOOX Net-A-Porter Group, has provided with valuable social media marketing and luxury fashion experience. Every day I support THE OUTNET’s Global Head of Marketing, Social Media Manager and Executive to produce daily copy, creative assets (organic & paid) and ensure our global social media strategy is delivered efficiently. My key administrative roles include creating social media weekly activity and social campaign reports, writing copy for THE OUTNET’s Facebook platform, monitoring all social platforms and key influencer content, updating and planning content for our social media marketing calendar and analysing competitors for digital marketing initiatives. I am highly numerate with strong mathematical skills from studying mathematics throughout university and high school and have continually developed these skills by managing the Social Media team’s budget expenditure, raising POs and processing bills. I also work closely alongside the brand’s UK and US marketing teams – in particular email, paid search, partnerships and affiliates – in order to create updated and engaging social assets and copy to drive revenue. When THE OUTNET’s marketing assistant is out of office, is it my responsibility to manage specific key roles of theirs, as well as my own. New York and London Fashion Week 2015 and 2016, brand events and social media competitions are successful projects I have been involved in to organise. I enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging environment, working both autonomously, and within a team and achieving tasks and projects set to strict deadlines.

     -
I worked alongside Ted Baker's Social Media Executive and Marketing Manager at the brand's London head office and Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk. I gained an understanding of how the social media team operate all social media channels and experienced working with their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. I was very privileged to experience controlling the Ted Baker Twitter account of the live feeds and tweets throughout the live AW14 catwalk. It was great to work within a fast paced environment, interact and network with all of the marketing communications team.

The nature of my degree involved a great deal of independent International market research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a range of writing, creative, organizational and time management skills. I carried out a final year dissertation project, in which I specifically carried out a case study researching how effective Ted Baker’s integrated marketing communication strategies and channels, in particular social media platforms and email, are upon customer purchase decisions. My degree studies and work experience, have allowed me to achieve great knowledge about luxury fashion markets and marketing channels.
