About me
Sophie McGovern is an award winning creative who indulges in writing about herself in the third person when the medium calls for it. She then likes to read it back in a low, warm, velvety Scottish accent to imagine what it would be like to have Kirsty Young introduce her as a castaway on Desert Island Discs. She is reluctant to reveal too much more about her fantasy episode as she still holds out hope that one day she will be on the show and wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise for everyone plus if you’re here because she asked you to employ her you probably don’t care. Back on-topic. Sophie is a multidisciplinary creative based in London with a passion for solving problems. She came into the industry through D&AD’s New Blood Shift and in the two years since i’ve sent an email from a car, made TSB’s first ever live action film, scribbled all over Churchill and made Tommee Tippee’s website a lot more inclusive (winning a Pride AM award in the process). I've also been named as one of Campaigns ones to watch and a badass gal by the YCC.
