I am Swedish born and have been resident in London for the past 17 years. I decided to start my family early, and by the time my youngest child was four, I opened my own business. Running my own business developed my time management and prioritising skills, as I had to manage and synchronise product delivery, design and stock management in order to deliver excellent customer service. I have therefore excellent time management, organisational and communication skills. I excel in fast and demanding environments, and I am a creative and goal- driven person with an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic desire to succeed. I am very efficient and in the same time, I pay attention to the smallest detail and I would not complete a task without perfection, whether it is in my private life or when running my business.

I launched and developed my fashion jewellery brand in 2014. My passion for natural gemstones inspired me to create handmade jewellery, and by applying my web design skills, I have developed the online ecommerce website, www.sophievari.com. Sophie Vari jewellery is also stocked at Swedish interior design online store ‘bybinett’.
Social media, together with email shout outs, fashion fairs and word of mouth, are the main sources of marketing and advertising used for my brand. Building social networks as well as understanding/identifying fashion trends have shown to be significant for the sales figures.
