- Babette's FeastThe inspiration for my collection is the film Babette’s Feast- like the lead character in the film I have tried to create an exciting, eye-opening experience for the audience by developing a mood and concept based on conviviality with undertones of grounded opulence. I have incorporated playful elements from the culinary table alongside formal dinner suiting silhouettes.

Internship & Pattern Cutting Room

I was given pattern cutting and sample making responsibilities for season A/W 14 and S/S15. From the tasks I widened my knowledge of garment finishing and refined my pattern skills, especially for tailor based designs. This became useful for and central to my final year collection. I also supported a unique costume project for the opera Cosi Fan Tutte.
General Internship

During this internship I began to learn about pattern grading and sample garment making for season A/W14.
