About me
Since completing my degree in Drama and Physical Theatre, I have had extensive experience in customer service and administration. I am currently working in a fast paced administration role at a teaching recruitment agency. As part of this role I have a duty to maintain relationships with the companies 75 branches, who contact our department on a daily basis. I am also responsible for compiling and managing information within the companies database and dealing with complex and confidential paperwork. Prior to this I spent three years working for a television production company, where I managed a team of freelance staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the media production office. Throughout my professional career I have also developed a passion for social media. The development of my social media platforms has taught me the importance of creating new and engaging content via a variety of mediums i.e. video, written word and photography. Alongside creating suitable content for the target market, I have used focussed campaigns and my knowledge of analytics in order to build audience engagement. This has given me the opportunity to work as a Brand Ambassador for a global beauty company. I am now seeking the opportunity to work in an environment where I can combine my administration skills with the knowledge that I have gained from my experience with social media.

As the first point of contact on reception I was tasked with promoting a professional frontline image for the company. Responding courteously in answering clients, guests and suppliers concerns. Overseeing a team of office runners to ensure they are up to date with their daily duties. Providing secretarial services such as scheduling meetings, minute taking and diary management for the facilities manager. Circulating important company information via post, email and social media. Dealing with incoming/outgoing emails, faxes and post. Receiving and processing press and talent management enquires. Various IT troubleshooting, such as setting up group emails and server connection. Ensuring that office procedures and systems operate efficiently. Raising purchase orders and chasing outstanding payments. Maintaining an electronic and hard copy filing system along with a variety of inventories.
