About me
Steffan is an award-winning London-based filmmaker. Steffan works globally: London, Tokyo, New York, Havana, Lima, Los Angeles, and is fluent in Japanese. Recent clients in collaboration with Ipsos include the BBC, HMRC, Sport England, Coca-Cola, and inequality economist, Gary Stevenson. Steffan's 2023 film, Gary Stevenson - Life Out of Balance, is featured on Directors' Library. Steffan is currently working on a documentary film about Japanese culture through the lens of skateboarding.     Researching the lives of people in Tokyo & London from different backgrounds, through filming & editing a variety of documentaries with and about the subjects. Editing and ethnographic analyses were then completed in London. Examples of our clients include Walkers & British American Tobacco. For a recent project, filmed in Tokyo, edited in London & translated from Japanese to English - five x 30 minute ethnographic documentaries. Then edited together six further films focusing on specific project themes.
