About me
Multi award-winning documentary filmmaker. Experienced in subculture documentary filmmaking in Japan, Cuba, Peru, US & UK. Based in Hackney, London. Recent clients include BBC, Amazon, Ipsos MORI, Royal Bank of Scotland, Walkers and BAT. I’m now in pre-production, working with Cine16 Films on a feature documentary about Japanese culture through the lens of skateboarding. The project is a recipient of funding from the Daiwa Foundation Grant scheme, May 2020.   • Skate in LA - A Skateboard Documentary
    Skate in LA - A Skateboard DocumentarySkate in LA is a vignette short film exploring the feelings and stories of four local LA skaters. 

Travis Bracken, who grew up without his parents in South Central Los Angeles, talks about how skateboarding saved him from a life as a gang member.
 Tracie Garacochea also explains that the Olympics is changing how some parents of skaters see the sport, sometimes treating it as a way to get their child into the Olympics.

    SKATE IN PERÚSkate in Perú explores the views of four young Peruvian skateboarders in Lima. Each shares their unique perspective of the skateboarding community in Perú and how it influences their lives.     Researching the lives of people in Tokyo & London from different backgrounds, through filming & editing a variety of documentaries with and about the subjects. Editing and ethnographic analyses were then completed in London. Examples of our clients include Walkers & British American Tobacco. For a recent project, filmed in Tokyo, edited in London & translated from Japanese to English - five x 30 minute ethnographic documentaries. Then edited together six further films focusing on specific project themes.
