  • My passion to use my design skills to create social change and my interest in women’s health have led to my role as an Ambassador for Clue. I do user testing on a volunteering basis to improve the usability of the app and develop new features. I am part of a global network of women, non-binary and transgender individuals to exchange knowledge and create impact. I am proud to be part of a collective that is pushing for the normalisation of menstruation education and deepen my understanding about my own health. Creative Art Director

Young Enterprise Start-up

Sep 2016 - Aug 2016
  • London, United Kingdom
  • Full Time
  • With the aim to create impact the collaboration of a designer, two entrepreneurs and a musician was born. The diversity of the collective skill-set within the start-up ensured a cross over within roles. Everyone was involved in all aspects of the business, from product development, customer services to sales and making tea. Our approach was based on: getting to know the end user, brainstorming ideas, prototyping, testining and interating. I had the creative lead which included logo design, responsive website, social media presents, print media, pitch deck, images, videos, exhibition stand and business report. In addition, I was responsible to keep an overview of the the financial situation. Managing the financial tasks was challenging but I could add skills like communicating complex financial issues in a simple way as well as analyse and forecast the financial future to my designer skill set. An innovative approach to financial and resource management and understandig the financial consequences of every action was a crucial learning. Through my ability to embrace change and motivate others I became a natural leader within the group. Read more about my experience in my blogpost „Mind the gap“: https://straightforward.blog/

Digital Designer

Unic AG

Nov 2013 - Mar 2016
  • Zürich, Switzerland
  • Full Time
  • Unic is a leading provider of digital experience and first-class e-Business solutions for over 20 years. Unic accompanies their customers personally and in an extensive manner: from strategic advice to the concept, from design to implementation and from operation to continuous further development. In my role as a User Experience Designer, I worked closely with Art Directors, Developers, Information Architects, Project Managers and Clients. Within a diverse team I developed visual concepts for digital user experiences and award-winning responsive websites. My curiousity and determination helped me to solve problems and overcome challenges creatively. I was responsible for the creation of complex style guides and design tasks from the internal Corporate Marketing and Communication Department. I independently coordinated the visual language of the weekly newsletter from one of Switzerland‘s largest retail and wholesale companies. In order to extend my expertise, knowledge transfer within the company was important to me. Internal presentations were a great chance to share my knowledge and develop myself further. I was part of the preparation and execution of presentations for customer projects and pitches. I represented the Art Director during a one month of absence and could lead the design project independently. https://www.unic.com/
