As the Marketing executive, I was the only marketer working on the world's leading aircraft interiors show. I joined at the start of the busiest time before the show - registration had just opened and communications/advertising ramped up. Maternity leave cover: day to day running of their marketing, maintaining the websites and online shops/etail accounts, updating their social media accounts, thinking of new marketing and advertising strategies, monitoring analytics and writing reports every month on all the marketing activities. During my time at Channels, I kept the vehicle database up-to-date and rebranded the online tool shop. For the rebrand, a new logo was produced, the online shop was redesigned and a Trade Day was organised to stir up interest from the local trade industry. This event was the first of its kind for the company and myself and it really helped me learn and expand my knowledge and skills at events planning. Channel Commercials was a company that helped me start my Marketing career as it allowed me to really settle into what marketing was truly about on a day to day level and the different techniques the various sides of the business used.
