- Stone's Throw TheatreWe're a powerful team of three: Amelia (Amy) O'Loughlin as Artistic Director, Steph Skarbek as Producer and Lauren Harbord as General Manager. Our mission is... To engage the community in stimulating workshops that use theatre practice as a catalyst for discussing social change and understanding the environment in which we live. To create theatre that addresses the socio-political issues of our time; using a combination of arts forms to provoke discussion; and to transform our audience into the perspectives of others. To provide a platform for new talent to exhibit their art and expand their network. We’re open to all forms of art; whether it spoken-word, music, dance, film-making, photography or circus; we want to see how different artists can interpret and express Stone’s Throw’s subject matter. To invite "play" into theatre; to experiment with audience and performer interaction and synaesthesia in experiential performance.
