About me


Stephen in a recent graduate of St Anne’s College, Oxford, where he studied composition with Professor Martyn Harry, and in 2016 he was winner of the St Anne's Composition Competition. He takes a particular interest in electroacoustic music and music technology. His extracurricular activities while at Oxford included conducting the St Anne's College Orchestra and singing in the University’s premier chamber choir, Schola Cantorum. Stephen is also a dedicated performer. He has held scholarships for performance with ensemble ISIS (contemporary music) and the St Anne’s Camerata. Previous tutors have included Benedict Holland and David Vernon at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, and he is a former member of the National Youth Orchestra.
