The Social League is a marketing and content agency which works with a community of global social influencers to create exciting bespoke brand content campaigns. Key responsibilities included managing all content for The O2’s social channels, liaising with artists and other stakeholders for event opportunities and devising the content strategy for The O2 website blog. I also managed a small team of 2 employees. In six months, the engagement of the channels grew 87% on Facebook, 560% on Twitter and 200% on Instagram based on the strategy I created and implemented.
During my time at Virgin EMI, I was in charge of the Virgin EMI’s online presence and also working with 20+ artists to create their own identity in the digital marketing landscape - specifically all streaming service strategies, social media management, CRM strategies and coordinating high profile flagship events (Virgin 40). Whilst there I also devised and implemented extensive digital strategies for five number 1 singles (Naughty Boy, Avicii x2, Martin Garrix, Kiesza) and two number 2 albums (Naughty Boy, Avicii).
Account Manager for The O2 & Skype implementing B2C mobile and experiential strategies on behalf of The O2 for an extensive range of artists including Iron Maiden, Kylie Minogue and Dolly Parton. I also managed the acquisition of talent such as Imogen Heap, Klaxons and more with managers and labels on behalf of Skype which in turn, facilitated one of their global marketing campaigns.
